The Journées du Centre SÈVE 2022 were the proof of Centre SÈVE’s interest in promoting the cooperation and partnership with international researchers. During the Réunion Conjointe Centre SÈVE-SFR NorVége (France), professors from Quebec (Université de Sherbrooke, Agriculture and Agrifood Canada, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Université Laval and McGill University) presented their work beside researchers from France universities (UniLaSalle-Rouen, Université de Caen Normandie and Université de Rouen Normandie). Also, the networking hour brought to the students the possibility to participate at the Summer Schools in Morocco (2023) and Cameroun (2024).

At the Student Symposium, 24 students presented their master’s and doctorate projects in the sessions: (A) Microbial interactions and resistance, (B) Plant sciences, (C) Agriculture productions and environment. Congratulations to winners of best presentation!

Session A: Microbial interactions and resistance
First place: Maude Pomerleau (Université de Sherbrooke)
Second place: Rosaelle Perreault (Université de Sherbrooke)

Session B: Plant sciences
